الفعالية الأخيرة ضمن برنامج كبار السن المدعوم من قبل حكومة كندا كانت الرحلة البحرية الأولى على ضفاف نهر ديتروبت بمشاركة اكثر من (160) راكباً من الجالية العربية والعراقية تزامناً مع نهاية فصل الصيف لهذا العام . تمتع المشاركون فيها بالموسيقى العربية (دي-جي جو حنا). أجريت العديد من المسابقات ووزعت العديد من الجوائز القيّمة. وقد حظيت هذه الفعالية بترحيب كبير من الجالية وطالب المشاركون بتكرار مثل هذه النشاطات الجميلة. The last event of the Seniors Program, which is supported by the Government of Canada, was the first cruise on the banks of the Detroit River with the participation of more than 160 passengers from the Arab and Iraqi communities. The participants enjoyed Arabic music (DJ Joe Hanna). Several competitions were held, and valuable prizes were distributed. The event was enjoyed by the community who asked to hold another great activity of the like.

ثلاثة متاحف زارها المشاركون في الرحلة الثالثة التي نظمتها منظمة المجموعة العراقية الكندية تنفيذاً لبرنامجها المخصّص لكبار السن بدعم من حكومة كندا. المتحف الاول تضمن السيارات والعجلات القديمة التي صنعت واستخدمت في كندا واميركا اما المتحفين الآخرين فكانا عن المهاجرين الافارقة الاوائل الذين هربوا من بطش العبودية والتعامل اللاانساني في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية آنذاك - حيث كانت كندا اول الدول التي انهت العبودية واستقبلت اللاجئين. مرة أخرى تتقدم منظمة المجموعة العراقية الكندية بالشكر من جميع المشاركين والمتطوعين وتعو الجميع الى الاتصال بمقر المنظمة لتسجيل أسمائهم للمشاركة برحلتها البحرية في نهر ديترويت خلال الشهر القادم Three museums were visited by participants in the third trip, organized by the Iraqi Canadian Group Organization, in implementation of its program for the elderly people, which is supported by the Government of Canada. The first museum displayed the old cars and wheels made and used in Canada and America. The other two museums were about the first African immigrants who escaped slavery and inhumanity in the United States of America. At that time, Canada was the first country that ended the slavery and welcomed the refugees. Once again, the Iraqi-Canadian Group Organization expresses its thanks to all participants and volunteers and invites everyone to contact the headquarters of the organization to register their names to participate in the cruise in the Detroit River during the next month.

افتتاح البازار الاول الكبير في قاعة كوبوتو كلوب بمشاركة عدد من رجال الاعمال والفنانين التشكيليين واصحاب الحرف والمؤسسات الخدمية وبدعم من الجالية العراقية. وتغطية اعلامية من قبل صحيفة سناب ويندزور وراديو امريكانا. The opening of the first big bazaar in the Caboto Club Hall with the participation of several businessmen, artists, craftsmen and service institutions and with the support of the Iraqi community. The media coverage was secured by the Snap Windsor magazine and Radio Americana.

بتاريخ 2017/07/23 انطلقت الرحلة الثانية لمنظمة المجموعة العراقية الكندية تنفيذاً لبرنامجها المخصّص لكبار السن بدعم من حكومة كندا. بعد تقديم القهوة والكرواسان انطلقت الحافلة الى مدينة لندن.. يوم رائع وغني بالنشاطات زار خلاله المشاركين المنزل التاريخي للقوات الكندية الملكية الذي حوّل الى متحف عسكري باسم "متحف القوات الملكية الكندية" وكذلك زاروا كنيسة القديس اندرو وكان لهم مشاركة بمعرض الكتاب الذي اقامته كنيسة القديس جوزيف للكلدان الكاثوليك. منظمة المجموعة العراقية الكندية تتقدم بالشكر من جميع المشاركين والمتطوعين وتنظر قدماً الى مزيد من الفعاليات المجانية لخدمة الجالية في ويندزور. On July 23, 2017, the second trip of the Iraqi Canadian group was launched in implementation of its program for the elderly people, which is supported by the Government of Canada. After serving the coffee and croissants, the bus took off to London. It was a wonderful and exciting day, during which the participants visited the historic home of the Royal Canadian regiment, which was transformed into a military museum called “The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum”, and they also visited First St. Andrew's United Church. In this trip they had a participation in the Book Fair, which was held by the Church of St. Joseph Chaldean Catholics church. The Iraqi Canadian Group thanks all participants and volunteers and looks forward to more free events to serve the community in Windsor.

The Iraqi Canadian Group Organization is pleased to announce the continued partnership and link between The ICGO and The Imam Hussain Foundation and also with the Windsor Mosque and Windsor Islamic Association. We hope these links with these two organizations allow us at The ICGO to provide more services to all of those in need in our community, and work together to benefit not only the Islamic community of Windsor, but for Windsor as a whole. The Canadian Group Organization is proud to present the photos and the video of its first trip to London, Ontario on Sunday 25/6/2017. The trip started at 9:00 am with more than 50 passengers, more than 5 Volunteers and 2 photographers. The participants visited the Museum of LONDON and the Cathedral of Saint Peter, the oldest Cathedral which was built in the old Roman style. All participants enjoyed their time and thanked the Government of Canada who support the senior program “Get On The Bus” and the sponsors of this program.
